Come on an adventure and explore the beauty of the Pembrokeshire's sea cliffs with me, Henry Castle, a top level guide and instructor. I specialise in guided sea cliff climbing, rock climbing skills development courses as well as family or group climbing experiences. All within the magical Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.  

I moved to Pembrokeshire from Bristol eleven years ago to set up Climb Pembroke. Having climbed extensively on the sea cliffs of Pembrokeshire for many years, it was great to make the move and have such incredible crags and stunning coastline on my doorstep. 

I've been a professional climbing instructor for over twenty years and have had the opportunity to work in diverse climbing and mountaineering environments throughout the UK, as well in France, Spain, Italy, the island of Sardinia and Morocco. Before moving to Pembrokeshire I held a Senior Instructor, then Chief Instructor role at the nationally renowned Bristol Climbing Centre for over four years. My personal passion lies in ascents of adventurous traditional rock climbs, making on sight first ascents of inspiring lines, and Scottish winter climbing in the mountains.

I hold the highest Mountain Training UK award - the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (WMCI) - . This allows me to offer all forms of climbing and mountaineering instruction and guiding, both in summer or winter conditions. From sunny sea cliffs to guiding and teaching ice climbing on the largest frozen mountains of Scotland, I’m qualified to deliver it all.

All courses I deliver through Climb Pembroke are private (not open for others to book onto) and are designed around your experience and ambitions. I aim for quality and for you to go away feeling you’ve received the highest level of instruction, coaching, care and fun!
